Manzanilla Viva la Pepa

Sanlúcar is defined by land, port, sea, salt and Wind; the Guadalquivir River…; vineyards, wineries, and above all… Manzanilla. Sanlúcar is synonymous with wine, with intense aromas flooding the city between August and September every year. The Mazanilla Viva La Pepa is a faithful embodiment of such pure excellence.
TASTING NOTE:
Bright golden yellow, transparent wine Delicate and sharp aroma, with notes of yeast, fresh bread dough and almonds that come from its lengthy ageing process under the flor yeasts following the traditional solera system where the barrels are arranged into different tiers or criaderas Very dry and slightly bitter on the palate, with a persisting almond and nutty flavour

GASTRONOMY
Appetizers, old cheeses, iberian ham, nuts, shellfish and fish. Use an ice bucket with both ice and water to serve chilled between 6 & 8º C. In traditional wide rimmed catavinos or in a white wine glass.
